The Soho Edition: Summer

There’s always something happening in Soho, here’s what we’ve got our eyes on this season.

Late Night Comedy

With three studio spaces, the Dean Street residence of Soho Theatre is home to performances from some of the biggest names in comedy, spoken word and cabaret. And with over six shows per night, there is surely something that will be to your discerning taste.

Catch a show

Soho is the home of West End Theatre, need we say more? No, not really. But if you’re looking for a recommendation we think the Book of Mormon is good for a laugh, the ‘naughty but nice’ Tuesday evening shows at Bar Burlesque on offer at Underbelly Boulevard, and there is always a chance that you’ll run into some of the cast of Moulin Rouge after a show as they’re right next door.

The Summer Exhibition

The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition is an institution in and of itself. Held every year without interruption since 1769, it showcases a mix of art by household names and emerging talent. They close their doors at 6pm, which conveniently, is the time we open ours.

BST Hyde Park

This year’s lineup is looking mighty fine, with Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Sabrina Carpenter, Noah Kahan, Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts, Jeff Lynne, and the one and only, musical legend Stevie Wonder. If you’re looking for somewhere to continue the good vibes, we’re always open late.

Lunch or dinner at Kricket

With a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Kricket is one of the best restaurants in Soho for a quick meal or indulgent feast no matter the season. They’re right next door, so you can easily slip in a pre or post dinner cocktail at SOMA to round out the experience.
